All children at our school belong to one of our House groups. Each House group has children from New Entrants to Year 8 in their team. During the year, the House leaders organise activities throughout the year so that children get to know others throughout the school. The 4 Houses are named after mountains in our region and each have a Dominican patron saint.

A Message from our Parish Priest and School Chaplain
On behalf of St Joseph’s Parish, I would like to welcome you to our parish. Geographically, this encompasses the Wakatipu Basin with Mass centres in Queenstown (St Joseph’s), Arrowtown (St Patrick’s) and Garston (St Thomas’s). As you are aware, this is a quickly developing region.
We would like you to feel at home in our parish. The St Joseph’s School is an integral part of life in our parish. We endeavour to work together where children can grow in the knowledge and love of their faith and fulfill their potential as human beings. We invite you to attend our Saturday night or Sunday Masses and be actively involved in parish ministries, activities and in the Sacramental preparation of your children.
If you interested in learning more about your faith, courses are run from time to time. I am happy to help you in whatever way I can.
God bless
Father Cipriano
